Our second apartment, a duplex called Carteret Marina, has two en-suite bedrooms, underfloor heating, three balconies and electric shutters on all large windows. With it`s porthole style windows and wooden-decked balconies the apartment has been designed with the feel of a transatlantic passenger liner, and has been equipped with the highest quality, modern furnishings.We welcome young adults of 10 years or more, but regrettably this apartment simply is not suitable for children, and I am afraid we must limit smoking just to the balconies.

The spacious master bedroom is equipped with a modern double bed, two bedside cabinets and reading lamps. Behind the camera is a large dressing area with double wardrobe and tallboy. Double doors lead onto a private south facing balcony with a view of the sea.

The attatched private bathroom has a large bath, double sink vanity unit, large mirror and toilet. A hair dryer is provided.

The entrance hall has double doors that lead onto a lovely rear balcony that overlooks the lively main street. The large downstairs toilet has a WC and sink with mirror.

The lounge/dining room is so relaxing with a leather sofa, stone coffee table, flat screen television with both English and French channels plus DVD player. Plenty of games and books are also provided.

The solid stone dining table, made from river bedrock, has enough room to seat six people. Double doors lead onto a massive south facing balcony that spans the entire width of the apartment. Out here you will find plenty of tables and chairs to dine al fresco.

The modern kitchen has everything you need with a built in oven, induction hob, coffee machine, kettle, integrated microwave, fridge and dishwasher. Good quality cutlery and crockery have also been supplied. There is also a combined washing machine and tumble dryer.

The Balconies

The large main balcony, facing the south, is a real sun trap.

Although the apartment is to the rear of the block, it has a wonderful view over Carteret estuary and yacht marina.
