La Cité de la Mer is situated on the site of the old Transatlantic Railway Terminal in Cherbourg and is a new and unique tourist centre, of great interest both scientifically and culturally. The chateau at Crossville Sur Douve is open all year round. The daughter of the original owner has done monumental work restoring this lovely building to it`s former glory.
